אני מפעיל מכונה וירטואלית ויש לי אינטרפיס 0vboxnet איך אני הופך את זה למכונה שיושבת כאילו פיזית בתוך ה- lan עם IP מתאים שמתקבל ב- dhcp ?
אני רוצה שהמכונה הוירטאלית תיהיה חלק מה- LAN אבל אם אני בוחר vboxnet ב- settings אני לא יכול לעשות ping מהמכונה החוצה למרות שאני יכול לעשות ping למכונה. אם אני בוחר NAT אני יכול לעשות ping מהמכונה החוצה אבל אני לא יכול לעשות ping למכונה. גם ה- IP שהוא נותן אם אני בוחר באינטרפייס הווירטואלי הוא של אותו אינטרפייס ולא של חלק המרשת (כלומר לא 192.168.1. אלא משוה כמו 192.168.56.1).

in the setting of the Virtual machine ->network make sure the interface is set to Bridged .
This will allow a pass-through connection and will be assigned an IP from the local DHCP .

Thansk that does work as expected but what is the virtual interface is used for?

the vboxnet interface is the virtualization of your physical hardware to create the layer that is able to "patch" the functionality on the VM .
it is used with the "host_only" network selection - which i never used - so i can not give a sure answer
